Photography is poetry

It's all about your perspective

The Empty Seat

It’s been empty since you left.

It’s where my perception of you was built.

It’s where I found you.

It’s where we built memories.

It’s where I grew up.

Now I am afraid to see it empty. It’s not meant to be filled, but it is meant for our memories to forever be there.

I wonder if one day I will revisit it and realize it is empty. Heartbroken is what I will be.

I don’t know if I should be cheerful to reclaim my memories or grieving to realize how it was left in abandonment.

Maybe it’s what I need to kill the pain.

Maybe it’s too late. I wish the future wasn’t too harsh on the past and too brutal on reality

I wonder if it will ever be the same.

Time is Ticking

The clock tower stands tall in the sun,

Its hands ticking, one by one,

As I stand here, lost in thought,

Wondering if the time is right, or not.

For there's someone who captured my heart,

Whose smile can make my day start,

And every moment I see her,

Feels like time has ceased to occur.

But time keeps moving, oh so fast,

And moments slip away, like they can't last,

Leaving me wondering, will the time be right

To tell her how I feel, and hold her tight?

So let the clock tower tick away,

As I savor each moment, day by day,

Hoping that the time will come,

When our hearts beat as one.

Oh, clock tower, keep on ticking, if you must,

But let my heart stay true

Love Locks

On a bridge, two lovers play their part,

Each with a love lock close to their heart.

One dreams of the other, the bridge as their guide,

The other, at the same spot, in different time did confide.

The bridge stands witness to their love's sweet call,

Their locks have met, but they have not yet, enthrall.

But when, the bridge wonders, will their hearts finally meet?
